JUNIOR CHRISTMAS DOUBLES COMPETITIONS

Three competitions were held on 19/20 December. For several players this was their first exprience of a tournament.

Despite being cancelled on the Monday due to icy courts, the Orange /Green ball players competition was rearranged for the following day and enjoyed some good tennis ( and some sunshine!).

Competing on a group basis each match consisted of 6 games.

Orange/green - Results ;

The Yellow 2 competition gave the opportunity for some of the less experienced players to team up with those who had league experience. Played on a group basis each match being 8 games.

In Yellow 1 (u16) draw there were 6 players from Wye who partnered 6 from Sellindge. Fierce competition ensued with the winners not being decided until the final round of matches.
